Our family enjoys watching American Idol. So on a few occasions we have created our own American Idol, Drago style. The kids get their microphone and Darren, Liberty and I are the judges. Darren likes to play Simon. The kids get up and sing sons. Malachi usually makes up his own song, Naomi sings church songs, Cassidy sings I am a Child of God every time. We judge on creativity, sound, and attitude. Sometimes they get their yellow ticket, sometimes it's the end of the road, and sometimes they are drug out of the room by security (also played by Darren). The kids are hilarious. They'll beg for a second song if it wasn't good enough. They'll argue with the judges. That's when we leave the final decision up to Liberty. The kids can't wait to turn 16 so they can be on American Idol.

I hope they are good when they are 16...otherwise they will be a shame to the family being drug out by security on national TV. That seems like a lot of fun for the fam.
HOW CUTE!! What a fun idea. I cannot even imagine what your "Simon" may have to say. All the kids are soooo cute.

Too cute! My 4 year old wants to play AI all the time. This is the first season she hasn't sang "I am a Child of God" everytime.
